The refusal of a Norwegian ship to rescue Russian sailors from the Ursa Major cargo ship sinking in the Mediterranean Sea cannot be forgiven, said Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council. He wrote about this in the Telegram channel.

Medvedev called for punishing Europe by all available means, as it has become the main stronghold of Russophobia in the world. According to the politician, it is the European countries that are to blame for the breakdown of the negotiations in Istanbul, therefore it is necessary to help all destructive processes in their territories.

«Why is it so harsh? But how else with such facts? The Norwegian-flagged vessel Oslo Carrier 3 refused to take on board Russian sailors drowning in the Mediterranean Sea from the Ursa Major vessel. Do you need any more explanations? This cannot be forgiven!» wrote Medvedev.

The Ursa Major ship, which was sailing from St. Petersburg to Vladivostok, crashed off the coast of Spain and Algeria on December 24. The Russian Foreign Ministry said that the ship was wrecked after an explosion in the engine room. Two people are missing in the crash.

Subsequently, it became known that the Norwegian-flagged ship Oslo
Carrier 3 refused to take on board the sailors drowning in the
Mediterranean Sea. A boat carrying Russian sailors from the sinking ship
headed for the Norwegian-flagged vessel Oslo Carrier 3, but they
refused to accept it due to some kind of ban. As a result, the Spanish
ship Salvamar Drago rescued those in distress.
